Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the sales and marketing strategies for a company specializing in the sale of peptides, toxins, enzymes,. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in commercialization and business development.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential clients, partners, and markets for products. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and biotech firms. Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.


Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth. Develop and refine the company's market positioning and value proposition. Create and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's customer base.

Product Promotion and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to showcase the benefits of products. Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and events to enhance the company's visibility and network.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the research and development team to understand the scientific aspects of product development. Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to clients.

Sales Performance Management: Set sales targets and KPIs aligned with company goals and revenue objectives. Monitor and analyze sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales achievements and challenges.

Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Ensure exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships to drive repeat business.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sales Revenue and Growth: Achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets for products. Market Penetration: Expanding the company's presence in new and existing markets. Customer Acquisition: Increasing the number of new clients and partners. Client Retention: Maintaining a high rate of customer satisfaction and retention. Contract Negotiation: Successfully closing deals and partnerships with favorable terms. Marketing ROI: Measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities. Market Intelligence: Providing insights on market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.
Strong knowledge of products and their applications in research, medicine, or related fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at various levels. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex market dynamics. Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and market trends for decision-making.
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel to attend conferences, meetings, and client visits.
