Create and implement multi-year strategy to increase company value. Align the program with business goals, inform stakeholders, and create strategic initiatives.
Strategic procurement includes supplier portfolio management, market analytics, RfX & sourcing of higher-value orders, supplier selection, buy order preparation & placement, PO follow-up, and issue management.
Track your global supplier market. Assess trends, delivery systems, and markets to plan material and service availability. Perform market assessments, cost models, benchmarking, and TCO. Analyze demand cycles, increase purchasing power, preserve databases, and provide global market information. Analytics may track purchase volumes, consumption patterns, inventory levels, costs, pooling possibilities, cost-saving opportunities, and improvement areas.
Maintain vital supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
Address all concerns with specific escalations.
Boost make-or-buy choices via standardization, bundling, and supplier concentration.
Determine, analyze, and manage risks (e.g., delivery dates, capacities, material exchange rates/prices) and develop risk management strategies.
Gather stakeholder feedback on procurement procedures and create strategic plans.
Work with internal stakeholders to identify and consolidate procurement requirements, advise on suitable alternatives, coordinate with departments to identify professional services needs, record and consolidate requirements, and translate internal customer requirements into purchase orders for timely materials, products, and services procurement.
Transfer information and documents to the commercial assessment sheet/Fusion to evaluate bids. Follow organizational guidelines by reading and analyzing tender papers and contracts.
Contract administration, development, and negotiation
Manage supplier negotiations to discover affordable products and services, negotiate favorable terms, benchmark prices and quality, monitor contract expirations, and initiate renewals. Negotiate, manage contracts across procurement categories, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal, and tender committee.
Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent required.
Better to be accredited in procurement/supply chain.
Similar procurement and supply chain management expertise for 10+ years.
Minimum 5 years in MNC
Working with Word/Excel/Powerpoint, Project, and Visio
For Oracle Fusion, fluency in English is required.
Local and international procurement legislation and processes expert.
Negotiation and supplier growth skills.
Pre- and post-commercial contract management experience Analytical Thinking—Solves complex issues.
