Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experience Marketing Director with a real expertise in Category management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive category growth and increase market share. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category marketing plans to meet company objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Negotiate and drive strategy with brands partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product positioning and messaging.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and consumer data to optimize marketing strategies.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure successful product launches.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate market changes.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including advertising campaigns, product packaging, and promotional materials.
- Track and report on marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years in similar role
- Proven experience in category management, marketing, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of Saudi market or GCC is mandatory
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and marketing software/tools and familiar with ERPs
